A single Kadhwa Banarasi can take a master weaver and his apprentice six weeks. We work with seven such looms in Varanasi and credit every weaver by name on the garment's certificate.

Kadhwa, the slowest weave
In Kadhwa weaving each motif is woven separately with its own shuttle, so the back of the fabric is as clean as the front. It is the rarest and most demanding Banarasi technique.
